POPE FRANCIS' PRAYER INTENTION FOR MAY

For faith filled young people

We pray for all young people, called to live life to the fullest; may they see in Mary's life the way to listen, the depth of discernment, the courage that faith generates and the dedication to service.

The Pope calls us to prayer monthly and this time he is praying for young people - the future of the Church.

The youth these days are the target of the Devil. There are lots of atrocities being committed by the Youths, who wants to live their lives to the fullest. At a stage in some young ones' lives, they tend to forget the Church and live their lives as 'woke' persons.

Some ladies have let their guards down - despaired and they are being taken advantage of by Men who promise to help them with conditions attached. These then become Night workers.

What about those who wants to live their lives to the fullest, and they think they should join some Confraternities, that'd demand they pact with the Devil, whereby demanding some human sacrifices to make and renew their covenants with the Devil. Let's not talk about those who have resolved to Theft, Burglars, Pickpockets, Banditry, all because they need to live their lives to the fullest.

Teenagers. These are one very hard sect to grind. As they prepare for adulthood, that stage of puberty seems to be at it's peak and if they are not well enlightened, they become Victims of circumstances, where they cannot control themselves and would always want to satisfy their urge by all means.

Living lives to the fullest that the Pope means is not that which provides we risk heaven but, loving God and acting according to His will for us.

So, for all these set of people, who have in one way or the other, fallen astray, the Pope commends to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, that they may see the way to listen in Mary's life, the courage that faith generates and the dedication to service.
