SAINT GERTRUDE THE GREAT NOVENA
Gertrude is a German Nun in the 13th Century. She lived her life in nuptial mysticism, that is, regarding herself as Jesus' bride. Although, not much is known of her childhood but it is believed that she joined the Nuns at Helfta at the age of four.
She began to see a series of visions at the age of 25 and Jesus even promised that all who honour her would not die suddenly.
Let us make our intentions known to Saint Gertrude the Great, so that she would relate them to Jesus, her bride.
May the Lord accept our prayers, through the intercession of Saint Gertrude, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
