OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE'S PICTURE STOPS BUSH FIRE
In Florida, firefighters were stunned after witnessing an unexpected event. While a Popular tree was on fire and the fire was supposed to spread, then they noticed the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe painted on wood.
These men observed a grinding flame on the Tree where the Blessed Virgin Mary had been printed but were surprised to find the fire dying out as it approached the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The firefighters were Jose Manuel Rivera Valenzuela, and he made this statement:
"We stood there, watching her for a while before putting out the fire. I was floored." - Valenzuela
