NOVENA TO OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE

Second Day - July 1

The Lord hath dealt with us according to His mercy; He hath given us the joy of heart, that peace may flourish during our life and forever.
  
V. Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O holy Virgin.

R Grant me strength against my enemies.

Let us pray...

O God, Who, through Thine only-begotten Son, has in Thy mercy given peace to men, grant that, through the intercession of the Blessed Mary ever Virgin, we may enjoy constantly on earth the blessings of peace in Heaven. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

An indulgence of 3 years.
A plenary indulgence on the usual conditions, if these prayers are said with devotion daily for a month.

Hail, thou most sublime Queen of Peace, most holy Mother of God! By the Sacred Heart of Jesus, thy Son, the "Prince of Peace," appease His anger and obtain that He may reign over us in peace.

Remember, O most sweet Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who had recourse to thee was left unaided. Full of confidence I come to thee, Mother of the Word Incarnate; despise not my prayers but, in thy mercy, hear and answer me. O clement, O pious, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.
